Season 2017

Foothills Community Players presents our 2017 season, "A Season of
Legends." We hope you'll join us for a year of memorable theatrical
experiences!
Steel Magnolias
Gather
around the hair salon with six fierce ladies of the south. Robert
Harling's comedy not only reminds us all of the power of friendship, but
also reveals the beauty, tragedy, and hilarity that life offers.
In the
spirit of the queen of the Smokies herself, Dolly Parton, who was in
the Oscar nominated film, a portion of ticket sales will go towards the
"My People" fund, which aids those who continue to recover from the
fires that tore through the Smoky Mountains.
Steel Magnolias will be
presented by FCP at Second Harvest Food Bank on April 20-23, 2017 and will be
directed by Michael McMahan.
Singin' in the Rain

In
recognition of the late Debbie Reynolds, FCP invites you two kick up
your heels and sing and dance in the rain. The iconic film graces the
stage with favorites including, "Good Morning," "You Are My Lucky Star,"
and "Singin' in the Rain."
Look forward to ending your summer with this
classic on August 4-6 at the Clayton Center at the Pellissippi Campus
in Hardin Valley under the direction of Libby Pemberton.
Miracle on 34th Street
 The
enchanting tale that brought the trial of the legendary St. Nick will
close the season. Join FCP during your holiday season with a story that
examines what happens when a department store Santa claims to be the
real thing.
Miracle on 34th Street will be presented December 15-17 at Second Harvest Food Bank with David Miller directing.
